In July, 2016 Shelley joined the Palius & O’Kelley team as Executive Assistant. Today her role as Firm Administrator is instrumental in facilitating client communications and implementing processes and procedures to elevate the firm’s business model and meet the ever-changing needs of POJ’s clients. Her experience includes over 12 years of work in public accounting firms as an Executive Assistant and Client Services Manager. Her background and experience include assisting with HR benefits and payroll, billing and collections, recruiting, training and retention of staff, and overall office management. In addition, she has worked as an Executive Assistant in the footwear industry, the produce industry, public relations and in the non-profit sector.

Shelley was born and raised in Santa Barbara and graduated from Westmont College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and in Psychology.

In her free time Shelley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, swimming and volunteering at her daughter’s school. She is also very involved with the local chapter of Royal Family Kids, Inc. which works with children in the local foster care system who have been abused, abandoned or neglected.
